Experience	10 years of experience in consumer packaging development with responsibility for program management, engineering and supply chain.
Job Description	Responsibilities Plan and direct activities concerned with the design, prototyping, testing and delivery of product packaging, this includes the following but not limited to: design review, 1st article inspections, lab (vibration, impact, compression, drop, etc.) testing, over-the-road testing, problem solving and troubleshooting. Coordinate, own and document packaging requirements for each class of products. Define and manage internal and external resources necessary to acheive packaging goals. Consult with ID (Industrial Design) and PD (Product Design) departments and packaging suppliers to determine costs and feasibility of producting proposed packaging. Identify, qualify and manage packaging materials and integration suppliers. Work directly with packaging suppliers as well as final assembly and packout partner to ensure production readiness. Preferred qualifications Extensive experience and contact within entire packaging supply chain, from equipment manufacturers and raw materials suppliers, all the way to finished packaging suppliers. Shipped multiple products (packaging) in a lead or principal engineering role. Extensive knowledge of product life cycles and go-to-market strategies.
