HSBC Hiring Assistant Manager - Trade Finance (Int . Trade Document Checking)
JOB DESCRIPTION:
To provide a high level of service of customer service by the checking of Trade documents drawn under Letters of Credit .The job requires a high degree of technical knowledge and the thorough understanding of International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) published rules as well as Internal Controls and Group Compliance Policy including International sanctions etc
Accurately check documents drawn under letters of credit ensuring that they are strictly in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Letter of Credit as well as all internal and external rules and regulations.
To be aware of the nature of our customers business/trading patterns and alert to any out of the ordinary transactions, which should be escalated to Senior Management
Adhere strictly to compliance and operational risk controls in accordance with HSBC regulatory standards, policies and practices; report control weaknesses, compliance breaches and operational loss events.
Apply technical knowledge and experience towards resolution of any technical issues. By studying ICC decisions, court cases and remaining abreast of latest commercial practices.
Desired Profile:
A Bachelors degree, Masters, or equivalent industry/domain experience
Minimum 2 year of relevant experience required (Trade Doc Checking under LC) .
The Trade Experience should be only in the Banking Sector. Preferably CDCS qualified .
Candidate need to be willing to work in a 24*7 work environment.
Willing to travel if required.
Experience: 2 - 7 Years
