Business Strategy Manager
Job Description:Lead large global programs across multiple geographies and stakeholders
Define and manage program governance, risk management, execution plans, resource allocation, escalation and Change Management across multiple workstreams
Lead and Manage large teams across functions and geographies and deliver to program objectives within time and budget.
Participate in consulting and auditing engagements internal to ITO business
Defines, manages, and evaluates business plans to ensure they are operationally executable and financially viable, against defined strategic objectives
Develops recommendations for senior management based on competitive market, financial, statistical, and economic trend data
Conduct profitability analysis across regions/line of business and drive profitability driven decision making across cross functional teams
Sets operational metrics, evaluates actual performance, and makes recommendations to business leaders on performance target achievement.
Should demonstrate thought leadership
Should have clear and structured thinking
Should be able to manage senior stakeholders in the organization
Have relevant strategic planning experience to be able to prepare strategy documents and frameworks
Should be able to connect business finance, operations and delivery and produce a holistic framework for senior management decision making
Have good communication skills with the ability to bring people with him/her from a variety of functional areas
Be culturally sensitive and have experience in working across a variety of countries and regions
Demonstrate an ability to work in a matrix environment both in terms of being managed in one as well as managing teams in a matrix orientation
Understanding of statistical modeling will be an added advantage
Desired Profile Qualifications:
PG: MBA (Finance, Operations, General Management)/ PGDM from IIM ONLY
10+ years of post MBA experience in areas like program management, business planning, financial planning and analysis, management consulting (related to profitability/ costing), and internal audit (business process/financial process)
Experience in program management/ managing project management office (PMO)
Familiar with business planning cycle, budgeting, costing, business performance review and tracking processes
Strong communication skills with the ability to bring people with him/her from a variety of functional areas (finance, delivery, staff, HR etc)
Culturally sensitive and have experience in working across a variety of countries and regions
Demonstrate an ability to work in a matrix environment both in terms of being managed as well as managing teams in a matrix orientation
