The Role:
Technical administration on windows and sharepoint platforms
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for Servers in SharePoint , includes set-up and configuration, trouble-shooting and Performance Optimisation of SharePoint Services on Servers, maintenance of Web Front End Servers, Indexing Servers, and some aspects of maintaining Database Servers.
Skills Required:
- 4+ years of daily hands-on admin experience on Windows platforms (ideally Win 2008R2)
- 2+ years experience of SharePoint platforms
- 1 year (ideally 2+ years) daily hands-on experience of administering SharePoint 2010 platform at enterprise level
- Very strong understanding of all key platform components and admin related activities for: SharePoint 2010 Server environment; Windows 2008 Server environment and MS SQL 2008 Server
