Job Description (the role expected from candidate)
Job Responsibilities:
-Individual contributor role in SOC level verification
- Verification Ownership of complex Subsystem in SOC from planning to execution .
-Knowledgeable on power saving architecture .
-Skilled in verification environment development with focus on SOC verification bringup.
-Working on refining, scripting simulation environment
-Strong analytical skills/problem solving skills.
-Expertise in building Gate level test bench and performance verification
-Good understanding of Clock/Power management verification techniques
-Will own the low power verification strategy and implementation for the full chip SOC
-Will work with post silicon validation team to help reproduce issues in silicon and build methodologies for simulation acceleration .
-Working on formal verification techniques to bridge the functional coverage holes .
Technical Skills Set Required to perform the role (Mandatory / Preferred)
Technical Skills required:
- Experience in building System Verilog and Verilog test bench’s for an SOC.
- Proficiency in C, C++ , System Verilog, VHDL , Verilog and Perl is a must.
- C or C++ based SOC testing/test creation expertize .
- Good working knowledge on ARM architectures (Cortex-A7, Cortex-A9, Cortex-A5, Cortex-A15) used in SOC
- Good working knowledge on Formal verification at SOC level.
- UPF2.0 based Low power verification , test bench setup for low power verification at SOC level.
- Working knowledge on AXI3,AXI4,AMBA,AHB & ST-Bus protocols.
- MIPI,PCI-e,USB2.0/USB3.0,LLI protocol knowledge favourable .
- Performance verification at SOC level using emulators will be an added value .
- Experienced in Functionality verification, Regression testing, Stress testing.
- Post silicon debug experience is an added advantage for this profile .
- Gate-level simulations (GLS) of SOC subsystems.

B.Tech degree or above
