Job Description:
1. 8+ years of experience with Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
2. Experience in leading a project team of software quality assurance engineers , internal contractors, and outsourced partners to deliver reliable and supreme quality products and solutions
3. Experience in all stages of solution testing of complex products and platforms - test investigation, test strategy , test coverage design, test execution, results analysis and corrective actions
4. Hands on experience in project management - scheduling, risk management, stakeholder management etc.
5. Should be well versed with the organization/project performance metrics and should be able to drive the metrics based planning and decision making
6. Should be able to drive innovation and integration of new technologies into projects and activities.
7. Experience in security vulnerability/penetration testing, cloud, application and/or network security is desirable. Knowledge of Network connectivity - TCP/IP, ICMP, http, ftp etc. and Network Security - SSL, IPSec, 802.1x etc. will be an added advantage.
8. Should posses strong analytical skills
9. Ability to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision - self-motivated and willing to stretch to meet important deadlines
10. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, test design proposals, test status dashboards and negotiate options at management levels.
11. Ability to collaborate and establish partnership with Experts, Managers , Core Program Teams, peers, junior engineers and external partners
Desired Profile: Education and Experience
B.E/M.E or equivalent
8 years of testing experience in TCP/IP, firewall, Application Security and/or cloud security
Certificate in ethical hacking (CEHv7) highly desirable
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong background in testing TCP/IP, http, ssl, x509, switches, routers, firewall
Exposure to cloud technologies preferred
Strong programming skills with experience in Perl/Python
Hands on experience in any of the following areas end point security, server security, firewall configuration, intrusion detection/prevention, fuzzing
Should have hands-on experience in tools like Nmap, Nessus, WebInspect, Metasploit, Samurai WTF
Experience in writing/developing exploits
Using testing tools and software packages to automate test processes.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Using empirical analysis, modeling and testing methodologies to validate security design
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English. Ability to effectively communicate testing plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options at management levels.
Provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members.
