The position will report to the Assistant Manager, Strategic Initiatives.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead efforts to reinforce the Vendor Management Operations (VMO) role as the first point of contact for every business unit looking for procurement solutions.
- Manage the Vendor Engagement process for different business units.
- Ensure each corporate vendor goes through Altisource's standard compliance and registration processes.
- Identify cost reduction opportunities related to corporate vendor expenses.
- Assist with IT enhancement projects to improve VMO's overall performance.
- Assist with vendor set-up coordination process.
- Control costs and vendor performance.
- Acquire a holistic viewpoint of VMO's roles and activities.
Key Result Areas:
- Work on new and ongoing vendor engagement projects: immediately.
- Understand VMO's policy and procedures: 30 days.
- Understand the current technologies available for vendor management: 30 days.
- Obtain savings via negotiation and information analysis: 60 days after hire.
- Build positive partnerships with business units: ongoing.
