Job Description : Mechanize the collection of all historical data for trending, Volume, AHT, Service Level, and Shrinkage Factors. Need to trend down to interval level.
Track down to skill set level
Normalize for abnormal/one time occurrences but document for trending that can be used to manage similar situation if they should happen again. Ensure true peaks that are reoccurring are not removed in the normalizing process.
Standardize the methods to be used for trending Volume, AHT, Service Level and Shrinkage
Customize the formulas by program as to historical data to be used for trending (12 Mths, 6 Mths, 3 Mths, Etc).
Mechanize tools/reporting abilities for identifying patterns/trends that can be used for forecasting.
Need to document the details behind the data to ensure we are able to accurately forecast into the future.
Know the Business and the forecasted industry trends
Involve Client in Trending exercise
