Experience: 4 - 7 yrs
A minimum of 4 years Performance testing experience in various automated performance testing tools.
* Very thorough understanding of performance testing concepts.
* Skills required/background:
o He/she must have used either HP LOADRUNNER/ RPT/ JMETER/ OPENSOURCE/ in his/her previous projects.
o Experience of being worked in at least 2-3 performance testing projects
o Should be an expert on minimum of one of each operating system, database and programming language.
* Experience in planning, design, develop and execute performance test scripts
* Experience in working on Database performance, Middle tier performance and Application performance as a performance testing analyst
* Should have good communication and user interaction skills
* Should be a self-starter and work with minimal supervision
Key Tasks/Responsibilities:
* Participates in reviews/inspections of technology architecture of the systems
* Performance, load, Stress, fail-over tests on projects using technical specifications/strategy: plans, schedules, defines performance test objectives, writes and executes load testing scripts.
* Performs database verification, able to write SQL queries to verify and create data
* Do the analysis of thread dumps and middle layer. Collate the end to end logs to identify the performance bottlenecks.
* Setting Performance Test Environment setup
* Benchmarking of the performance results based on the application need.
* Investigates and resolves technical issues in the Performance Test Environments and communicates issues with various departments Analyze the performance test execution reports and spot performance bottle necks
